Annunciation Church & School, Washburn Center for Children, and Alongside Network invite you to join us as we partner to support parents of students who were physically injured on 8/27/25.
The goal of this partnership is to build a supportive community among parents and to increase coping skills to help set the conditions for resiliency.
Who we are: A research-based, family-led community focused on setting the conditions for family resiliency following a child’s life-threatening illness or injury. At our core, we are supporting families through some of the hardest moments of their lives. Since our founding, Alongside has centered parents and caregivers as the lever of healing within a family.
You are invited to join an Alongside Network Wellbeing Group.
These research-based groups are designed to validate experiences, build community, and teach coping skills. Each group meets virtually on Zoom once per week, is capped at five participants, and is co-facilitated by a clinical social worker and lived-experience parent. Groups will meet six times, starting in December and ending in January.
In addition to the Wellbeing Groups, we will also be holding three in-person events to build connections across all parents who had a child who was physically injured in the church.
If you would like to learn more, please use the form below to express your interest and sign up for a 30-minute phone call with an Alongside staff member.
All information shared on this form will be kept strictly confidential and will not be shared beyond the program partners.
