Carina is a Minneapolis, Minnesota-based human services professional and Alongside Network Ambassador. After her daughter suffered an injury in 2019 that led to an extended PICU stay, inpatient rehab, and months of home nursing care, Carina experienced the lasting impact of pediatric medical trauma. Connecting with Alongside’s Wellbeing Groups gave her a supportive space alongside parents and clinicians who understood her family's path. Carina brings a career’s worth of expertise—spanning program management, grant writing, and systems change—to her ambassador role. On weekends, you can find her exploring Minneapolis playgrounds, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
