Amber Ross, MSW, LICSW, Clinical Lead and Founding Advisory Group Member

Amber Ross, MSW, LICSW, possesses over 17 years of experience in the social services field. Throughout her career, Amber has used a trauma-informed lens to provide therapeutic and social services to adults, youth, and families in the community, in-home, outpatient, and inpatient settings. Amber’s experience is in a variety of roles including therapy, case management, supervision, program directing, and teaching. She has worked with families involved in the child protection system, treatment foster-care, adults with serious and persistent mental illness, as well as suicidal and self-harming adolescents.

Amber has also served as adjunct faculty for the St. Thomas-St. Catherine’s University Graduate School of Social Work. Amber earned her master’s degree in Social Work from The University of Minnesota. She is an MN Board of Social Work, MN Board of Behavioral Health approved Supervisor, and holds a Permanency and Adoption Competency Certificate (PACC) from the University of Minnesota. In her current role as Senior Director of Learning at Alia, Amber provides training, consultation, and leadership coaching on their Trauma and Intensive Permanence Services Projects in several jurisdictions including Brooklyn, NY, Eau Claire, WI, La Crosse, WI, Manitoba, Canada, and Santa Clara, CA.
